New Joint-Venture in India
Cikautxo has closed an Agreement with Indian hose manufacturer Taurus Flexibles Pvt. Ltd. for the acquisition of 50 % stake of the company located in Pune (India).
The name of new company will be “Cikautxo Taurus Flexibles Pvt. Ltd.” and is intended to develop and manufacture different kind of Automotive components.
It is a new step in the Globalization process in which Cikautxo is involved in order to meet Market demands.

ISO 13485 Certification
Cikautxo has obtained the certificate in accordance with Standard UNE EN ISO 13485:2003. Trough this award the company Bureau Veritas certify that the Management System of Cikautxo S. Coop. has been audited and found to be in accordance with the requirements of mentioned standard for the production of Silicone Parts for Medical Devices.

CIKAUTXO, S.COOP. - 40TH ANNIVERSARY
The small rubber processing company founded by some young entrepreneurs in the small village of Berriatua in spring 1971, this year celebrates its 40 years. Cikautxo, in these 40 years, has become one of the major suppliers of Rubber and Plastics market, having currently manufacturing presence in all continents with a total workforce of 2,430 people.On the occasion of the anniversary, different events will be held, having its culmination on 11th. June.

New factory in China
Cikautxo will open a new production facility in China. The new site will be located in the Industrial area of Kunshan and it is foreseen to start activity before the end of 2011. The plant will start producing moulded rubber parts for current customers in Chinese market. Around 45 persons will be recruited before the end of year 2011.
